Cyber Burma is a non-profit educational group and founded in January 2022. We are a team of highly skilled cybersecurity professionals from different parts of the world, but all hail from Myanmar.  Cyber Burma emerged in response to the 2021 military coup in Myanmar, which deprived young generations and professionals of opportunities in the cybersecurity field. 

🚩 Our Mission 

Cyber Burma empowers the global Burmese community with cybersecurity education, mentorship, and resources to achieve their cybersecurity aspirations. We also provide volunteer services to respond to cybercrimes and incidents affecting the community and industry. 

🏆 Our Achievements

We have provided mentorship to approximately three hundred (300) individuals.

• Diverse Mentee Base: Mentees hail from a wide range of educational institutions, including prestigious universities such as the University of Melbourne, Singapore Polytechnic, and Universities of Computer Studies from Myanmar. 

• Industry-Leading Professional Mentees: Engaged professionals from renowned local and international organizations.

• Reachability: Mentees represent a diverse geographical spread, with a majority from 🇲🇲Myanmar but also from 🇹🇭 🇸🇬 🇯🇵 🇲🇾 🇮🇩 🇮🇳 🇦🇪 🇬🇧 🇺🇸  🇦🇺
