🔥 Cyber Burma is a non-profit founded in January 2022, dedicated to empowering the global Burmese community through cybersecurity education and support. 

🎉 Our work began in response to the 2021 military coup in Myanmar, which disrupted educational and professional opportunities in cybersecurity for young graduates and professionals alike. 

💪 Education and Empowerment:  We provide cybersecurity education, guidance, and mentorship too help the global Burmese community fresh graduates and professionals alike: pursue careers, or launch ventures in cybersecurity.

💡 Community Support: We offer volunteer services to combat cyber crimes affecting individuals and small-to-medium businesses, including incident response guidance and resources to address threats like sextortion, cyberbullying, and cyber incidents such as ransomware attack and regulatory / compliance violation.

• We have addressed more than (20) cyber crimes / incidents including ransomware attacks, sextortion, online scams, and Facebook hacks. 

• We have provided mentorship to approximately four hundred (500) individuals. Mentees represent a diverse geographical spread, with a majority from 🇲🇲 Myanmar but also from 🇹🇭 🇸🇬 🇯🇵 🇲🇾 🇮🇩 🇮🇳 🇦🇪 🇬🇧 🇺🇸  🇦🇺 🇸🇪
